Barber Shops

In the early days, the barber shop in Ypsilanti, North Dakota was located in the pool hall. Then it was located near where Leland Patner's home was in the early 1980s. It was not at all unusual for barbers to run their shops out of their homes; people would go to their homes when they needed a hair cut. The last barber shop (as of 1982) was Trask's Barber Shop, which was near where Ted Thurn lived in the early 1980s.
