Andrew Headland Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Headland, Sr. came to the community in 1934, settling on a farm 3 ½ miles east of Ypsilanti, Stutsman County, North Dakota. Mr. Headland originally came to the United States from Norway.

The Headlands farmed in the Ypsilanti area until 1942, when they moved to a place near Montpelier. They had four children: Margie, Norma, Lois, and Andrew Turner Jr.
