Morris Ibes

Morris was born in the Jamestown area, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Ibes, who had come to North Dakota from Illinois. They farmed northest of Ypsilanti and, in 1935, moved to a farm along the James River, about six miles north of Ypsilanti, in Stutsman County.

Morris farmed with his father and, after his parents passed away, he continued farming until he moved into Ypsilanti in 1974, where he was living in 1982, when the Ypsilanti Community Centennial Book was published.
