Clarence moved to the Ypsilanti, North Dakota area with his parents, George and Pauline Domek, on March 17, 1907, finally settling in Corwin Township, in Stutsman County, ND.
Clarence married Mildred Melby on June 24, 1929, buying a farm where he lived for more than fifty years. He was still living there in 1982, when the Ypsilanti Community Centennial Book was published, although Mildred had passed away.
Clarence and Mildred Domek had four children: Robert, Donald, Paula, and Elmer. Following the death of his first wife, Mildred, Clarence married Delores McLaughlin.
