Frank O. Dally was born on January 5, 1885 at Jefferson County, Iowa. Lillian Garrett was born on December 10, 1890. Frank came, with his parents, to Grandin, North Dakota around 1902.
Frank Dally and Lillian Garrett were married on March 22, 1911 at Hillsboro, North Dakota. They farmed at Grandin for five years before moving to Winfield Township in 1915. There they farmed for thirty-one years before retiring and moving to Jamestown in 1946, leaving their son, Lyle, to farm the Dally farm.
Frank and Lillian were the parents of three children: Iola, Duane, and Lyle.
Mrs. Dally passed away in October of 1965 and, at the time that the Ypsilanti Community Centennial Book was published in 1982, Mr. Dally was residing at Central Dakota Nursing Home in Jamestown, North Dakota.
